Jerilyn Willin is living proof that if you have a dream and the tenacity to keep it in sight, you can get where you want to go in life. Jerilyn has been writing all her life. She has written corporate communications and training videos, co-authored (and saw produced) a play for young adults, been a stringer for a newspaper, and shot off many, many “letters to the editor". She has twice been a finalist in the Romance Writer’s of America "Golden Heart" international writing contest.
Her first book, co-authored with Wendy M. Warden, was “Deep, Deeper, Deeper Still: a guided journey for people who journal (and those who wish they did)”. It was released in September, 2009. Her second book, a novel titled Unless a Love Be Free was published in 2012. Her current work-in-progress, “More than a Job: 26 Strategies for Success after College” is scheduled for release in 2017. No one can call her a “fast writer” that is for sure.
Professionally, Jerilyn is a professional speaker and career strategies coach. Her work with leadership in organizations of all sizes, from the Fortune 500 to community libraries, has helped them tap into and develop the potential of their employees. Her work has taken her all over the US as well as to Australia, New Zealand, South America, Mexico and Canada.
Jerilyn lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and two Old English Sheepdogs. Her dogs remind her every day of the priorities in life: love unconditionally, play with abandon, nap when you need to, and drink plenty of water.
