Between holidays, Zoom fatigue and the usual summer ennui, folks just aren't interested in attending meetings. Therefore, there will NOT be a meeting on Tuesday, August 3 and perhaps not for some time. We'll keep you posted here, on Facebook and on MeetUp if and when we are ready to start meeting again. Yes, we are all getting Zoomed out, but virtual events do make it much easier for us to attend events without dealing with traffic. The American Writers Museum in downtown Chicago is worth a visit one day, but in the meantime, they are offering a series of Author Talks that you might want to tune into. As you might have suspected, there will be no meeting on Saturday, July 4, whether in-person or virtual. We trust that instead you will enjoy your holiday with socially-distanced picnics, taking part in drive-by parades and online fireworks displays.
